  • Vitamin B1 : Vitamin B1 is also known as Thiamine. It is a water soluble vitamin. Vitamin B1 is present in the outer wall of cereals, pulses, whole grains, vegetables like cauliflower, orange, potato. It is a water soluble vitamin. Heating, cooking and boiling food containing thiamine destroys it. Thiamine is not stored in the body so we always need a constant supply of thiamine in our daily diet. Thiamine is useful in conditions like peripheral neuropathy.
  • Vitamin B3 : Vitamin B3 is also called Niacin. How to Take this Syrup ?

Best time to take this syrup is 30 minutes before food as it contains multivitamins and lysine, it causes cravings for food so kids like to eat food after taking the syrup dosage. This syrup dosage for babies and adult is as follow :

  • Polybion Active Syrup : It is taken 1 teaspoon (5ml) in morning and evening before lunch in adults.
  • Polybion LC Syrup :It is taken 1 teaspoon (5ml) before feeding children with age more than 1 year in morning and evening. For adults, two teaspoons (10ml) in morning and evening before lunch.
  • Polybion SF Syrup : It is taken 1 teaspoon in morning and evening before lunch in vitamin B12 deficiency state or recovering from the illness.
  • Osto-polybion D Syrup : It is to be given in infants (Babies below 1 year of age) in the dose of 5 ml daily once or 2.5 ml twice a day. For children above 1 year, 5 ml twice a day is to be given.

How to Store syrup ?

It is stored at a temperature less than 30 degree centigrade. It is to be kept away from the children. Keep the bottle away from the sunlight and moisture. Do not keep the syrup bottle in freeze.
